The wild Muscovy Duck exhibits a unique appearance, with a large, robust body, long neck, and prominent red facial skin, known as caruncles. Its plumage varies in color, ranging from glossy black to mottled brown and white, with males typically larger and more colorful than females.
These ducks inhabit a variety of wetland habitats, including rivers, lakes, and swamps, where they forage for aquatic plants, insects, and small vertebrates. Unlike most duck species, Muscovy Ducks are known for perching in trees and roosting in elevated locations, making them well-adapted to both water and land environments.
Ducks will be 8 months to 1.5 years old when shipped.
